Last Sunday, the 7th of October, we woke to this delightful sight. SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! It also happened to be Genereal Conference for our church, meaning that we stay at home and watch our leaders and Prophet speak on television. What a perfect day for it.

Samuel was fascinated by the snow. He didn't seem to remember it from last winter. When he went outside, and the flakes were falling on him, he batted wildly at them. But after watching his sisters for awhile, he soon learned what to do with the cold white stuff.

He just didn't realize how cold it was! He wouldn't keep his mittens on, and pretty soon was howling about his icy fingers. Poor cute baby!

The girls didn't build a snowman, as I had suggested, it being the perfect snow for it. Instead they burried their barbie dolls in the snow. It took them awhile to dig them all out when they were done.

Just had to post this picture because Mary looks so cute in a hat.
After playing in the snow, we ate warm apple muffins and hot chocolate as we cozied up on the couch to watch conference.
